M. Raynor Mullins, DMD, MPH is an emeritus faculty member of the College of Dentistry at UK, with a particular focus on dental public health.. He is currently the Associate Director of the UK College of Medicine Office of Research and Development, which develops regional partnerships aimed at improving oral health awareness and access to care for underserved groups in Kentucky.
Raynor graduated from the UK College of Dentistry and received a Master in Public Health from the University of North Carolina. He completed his residency in Dental Public Health at UK, where he served as Academic Dean and Chief of the Division of Dental Public Health.
Raynor has received numerous professional honors, including induction into the Kentucky Public Health Hall of Fame in 2006. He is developing a statewide Kentucky Oral Health Network to improve services for expectant mothers and financially disadvantaged children across Kentucky. Dr. Mullins is a Past-President of the American Association of Public Health Dentists.
